This is game from 12th round of Serbian basketball championship, Nasa Liga. Three rounds are left before play-off start and as in many of previous seasons, Partizan is on leading position. But they will need victories to the end of regular season to stay there and to have advantage of home court in play-off. On the other hand Crvena Zvezda at the moment is on 4th position (the last palce that lead to play-off), but they have two big competitors for that 4th place in Metalac and FMP. So, both teams need victory here and I would give advantage to guests. Note that Partizan is only formally guests at this game because both teams play their home matches at the same place. Quality is without doubt on the side of Partizan. For nine consecutive years Partizan won the championship, also last five years they were best in NLB league + regular participants in the Euroleague (final 4 last year, Top 16 in this season). For the same time Zvezda not even close to these results + big financial problems in recent years that seems to culminate this season. Zvezda barely managed to survive in the Adriatic League (NLB). By the way in first mutual meeting in Serbian League on this same floor, Partizan won with amazing +41 points margin. Of course it is hardly expected that something like that could happen again today, but still win for Partizan around 20 points advantage is very realistic. Probable reason for not so high handicap line is fact that in some recent games in Serbian league, Partizan failed to cover, but again we must know that team of Partizan never played those games at full power, while against Zvezda was always contrary due to big rivalries among these two teams. Also note that Partizan have managed to cover handicap line in both miutual meetings with Zvezda in NLB league in this season.
