Deron Williams Signs In Turkey | Monday NBA Gossip
New Jersey Nets point guard Deron Williams is officially part of the Turkish club Besiktas.
The 27-year-old signed a one-year, $5- million deal that includes an opt-out clause enabling him to return to the NBA if the lockout ends.
Now that Bryan Colangelo has left his post as Toronto Raptors general manager to focus on his team president duties, the search for a new GM is on.
Reportedly, the Raptors covet Philadelphia 76ers GM Ed Stefanski.
He will interview for the job early next month.
Stefanski has also been linked to the New York Knicks, who want a new team president.
