Hamilton Victorious in German Grand Prix
Lewis Hamilton surged to an impressive victory in todays German Grand Prix.
The talented Brit, who won the World Championship in 2007 caused controversy in the week when he said he rarely thought of his World Title or even considered it of any real importance. Hamiltons win will also slightly quash the rumours he is bound for competitors Red Bull Racing for next season.
Todays race had everything, changing weather, many pit stops, flying laps, risky overtakes, accidents, retirements and crucially a worthy winner. It seems the sport is more exciting when the field is not just a Vettel led procession.
The championship leader came in 4th after a late overtake of Brazilian Felipe Massa. Fellow Red Bull man Mark Webber came in 3rd, Alonso in 2nd and Hamilton stood at the top of the podium.
The race leaves the Championship points standing looks like this:
Vettel 216 Webber 139 Hamilton- 134 Alonso 130 Button 109
Both Alonso and Hamilton are on the charge, whilst Vettels form may finally have faltered. To bet on all the races and the overall Championship go to betinternet.com and get the best odds.
