The Great Dane, better known as Gus Hansen, has now joined fellow team pro Tom Dwan and decided to speak out about the Full Tilt scandal and Black Friday. This is what Hansen’s agent told the Danish newspaper EB.dk yesterday.
-Until Black Friday, Gustav was convinced that he was part of an oiled and well-running business machine, with a professional board of directors, who had a clear distinction between player money and money for running the site.
-Gustav has never been near the top of Full Tilt Poker. Maybe they have told him and others things that were not true.

After a week off the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series gears up for one of the biggest races of the regular season, the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Adding to the importance of this race is the fact that there are just seven races left in regular season. This is the time of year where drivers have to turn it on if they want to secure a spot in the Chase for the Cup.
While Jamie McMurray brought home the checkered flag at the 2010 Brickyard 400, this race has been dominated by the No. 48 car of Jimmie Johnson of late.

The trade winds in Major League Baseball leading up to the deadline this week are no longer just winds.
The San Francisco Giants won the Carlos Beltran sweepstakes on Wednesday, acquiring the outfielder from the New York Mets along with cash considerations for prospect pitcher Zach Wheeler.
Beltran arrives in the Bay Area with a .289 average, 15 homers and 66 RBI. Wheeler, a righty, was considered a top prospect in the Giants’ organization.
